Mr. Shauger phoned this afternoon to let us know that they were on the boat headed to Long Beach. Yesterday was a full day of kayaking and snorkeling; they got to see a shipwreck, lots of sea life and Mr. Shauger encounter a 10ft. Blue Shark. The students did a Plankton lab and had some free time for swimming and relaxing. Our cellular phone connection was pretty broken, so details were a little difficult to glean from the conversation.<\/p>\n

Today the boat takes them to Long Beach and they will relax on the sandy beach until heading to the airport. Everyone is doing well, a few sunburns, a sick stomach from yesterdays hike to the top of Catalina, one broken toe on Mr. Shauger\u2019s foot, but all in all the report was very good<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
